Dear Friend:
On July 1st, I was pleased to announce that The Center for Mental Health and BehaviorCorp, Inc. had merged. This was a major step for both of these Centers. In the months that have followed we’ve become one organization with a dynamic mission. Today, we’ve a new vision and a new direction. And, we’re something bigger than the sum of the individual Centers that came together last summer.
Through the latter part of July and August and into the fall, we carefully set in place the myriad of administrative, clinical and social enterprise services that would make our new corporation run efficiently. Also, one of our priorities was to create a new name for our emerging organization. We wanted a name with a positive image. One that would communicate a coming together of equals. A universal name that would encompass all services—both current and potential.
To help us through the process of development and final selection, we worked with Floyd-Stanich, a prominent Indianapolis marketing firm. We had numerous meetings where they led us through creative discussions and brain storming exercises. We considered many names and eliminated many names and finally selected a name and logo we believe relates to both the merged organization and to our clients. It works with our whole spectrum of services and it sets us apart from other organizations and it signals change.
And now on behalf of the Board of Directors and myself, I’m delighted to officially present to you our new name and logo.
